This product contains a mixture of premium Tall Fescue seed to blend with your existing lawn, 100% recycled mulch to help keep seeds moist and in place, and fertilizer for fast growth and thick results. In fact, this mix starts to grow in as few as 7 days, feeds up to 6 weeks, and absorbs 3x its weight in water! Apply in the fall or spring when daytime temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F. Evenly spread a thin layer of PatchMaster® Lawn Repair Mix so the area is completely covered. A deep and thorough initial watering is the key to success. Gently water the area until PatchMaster® is completely saturated and no more water is being absorbed. Continue to water daily or more as needed to keep the soil moist. One 4.75 lb. bag of Scotts® PatchMaster® Lawn Repair Mix Tall Fescue Mix has a bare spot coverage of 70 sq. ft. and a thin grass coverage of 140 sq. ft.Application & Planting InformationPrep – Remove dead grass if necessary and loosen the top 2 inches of soil.Apply – First, shake the bag to mix the contents.
